Why Work with an Agronomist?

Many of our customers work with professional agronomists or consultants to get the most value and actionable intelligence from each report. An agronomist will review your report and make recommendations based on the data and element ratios in each report.

You can request agronomist recommendations from Apical when you order your reports, or you may choose to work with your own agronomist.

Apical Provides Recommendations

Apical analyses provide Basic Reports with Target Range Charting, along with Detailed Comparison with helpful charts.

You can order a Detailed Recommendation for $25 for a full review of your report, including specific products and quantities to apply.

1. Detailed Recommendation ($25 per report): Example: (on a per-acre basis)
• 500 lb Soft Rock Phosphate
• 500 lb Perfect Blend 4-4-2
• 250 lb Feather Meal
• 500 lb Fish Bone Meal
• 250 lb Mesa Verde Humates

Web Orders (pre-paid)

When placing a web order for a report (or set of reports), simply choose the type of recommendation you prefer. The report cost will be adjusted automatically, and you can pay for the report immediately.

Manual Orders (post-paid)

If sending samples with shipping labels without placing a web order first, be sure to indicate which type of recommendation you want for each report. Your report cost will be adjusted and added to your order total.

When a recommendation is available, you will receive an email with the recommendation text; in addition, the recommendation text will appear at the top of your report whenever viewing it on the website.

(Please allow 3-5 business days for your recommendations to be processed.)

Working With Independent Agronomists

If you choose to work with your own independent consultant, you must grant them access to view your reports.

Granting Access on the Apical website

To access an Apical report, your consultant must have an active account on the Apical website. When ordering a report on the website, after specifying basic information, you will see a page asking if you want to share your report with a consultant.

Sharing Single Reports

If you want to share a single report with your consultant, you must enter their email address. For multiple consultants, enter comma-separated email addresses.

Sharing All Reports

If you want your consultant to have access to ALL of your reports, so you never need to share individual reports, enter their email address on the 'all reports' section of the page.

Granting Access with Labels

If you are not placing your orders on the Apical website *and* you want to share your report(s) with a consultant, you must use the Avery 8164 sample shipping label template. Use the CC: field on the shipping label to add the email address of your consultant. See Help->Sample Shipping Labels for more information.

If you want to grant access to a consultant for ALL of your reports, send a message on our Contact Us page while logged-in to your account. Tell us the name and email address of your consultant, and we'll update our records to grant access to your reports.
